Our Commitment to the Planet:

Marrakech suffers from a significant water deficit. At “Riad Ksar Al Amal,” we are sensitive to protecting our planet and wish to contribute with you to environmental preservation by minimizing the footprint of our hospitality structure.

Simple and unobtrusive measures can make a big difference. Therefore, we count on your cooperation to:

  • Avoid leaving lights and air conditioners on unnecessarily.
  • Avoid leaving windows open with the air conditioning on.
  • Avoid letting water run and moderate the flow during showers.
  • Place dirty linen on the bathroom floor to be changed if necessary.

Culture and Spirituality of Morocco:

Religion plays an important role in Moroccan culture, and the majority of the population in Marrakech is Muslim. Islam is the main religion:

  • In the Medina, the days are punctuated by calls to prayer starting at 5:00 AM. It is practically impossible to avoid the sound of the Muezzin.
  • During the holy month of Ramadan, the days unfold at a different pace, and the city comes alive at night. During this period, we implement an adapted organization with our teams.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation and wish you an enjoyable stay in our Riad.
